This page is intended to help owners of internal email groups manage them. Every chair is owner of their own group. If you are not, you won't be able to edit the group, so please contact me. Owner Adding a Member- Go to groups.riraonline.com
- Sign in with your Google Account
- Click on the group you want to edit
- On the right-hand side, click on "Invite members"
- You can either select "Invite members by email" or "Add members directly". You usually want the second option
- Add the email addresses of the people you want to add, a short message and click Add (or Invite) Members
Owner Removing a Member- Perform steps #1-3 above
- On the right-hand side, click on "Management Tasks"
- Locate the member you want to remove, click the "Edit" link on that row.
- Click on the "Unsubscribe" button towards the bottom of the Edit screen.
Individual joining a groupGroups members are in control of their subscription. If you want to join a group: - Go to http://groups.google.com/a/riraonline.com/groups/dir
- Sign in with your Google Account
- Click on the group you want to join
- On the right-hand side, click on "Apply for group membership"
- The group owner will receive an email to approve your request
Individual leaving a groupTo leave a group you are subscribed to, you have two options. First Option: Look at the footer of the emails you receive from that group. There an email address like: group_name+unsubscribe@riraonline.com that you can send an email to be automatically unsubscribed. Second option: - Go to http://groups.riraonline.com
- Sign in with your Google Account
- Click on the group you want to leave
- On the right-hand side, click on "Edit My Membership"
- You will have options to control how you receive your emails, or completely unsubscribe.
